ToyFest has wrapped up its 11th tradeshow, hosting retailers from 48 states and 24 countries.
The show concluded last week at Las Vegas’ World Market Center, and this year marked the event’s second year as a national trade show. Originally known as ToyFest West, the show expanded last year to welcome new vendors from across the country. This year, ToyFest was honored as one of Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 for net square feet of exhibit space, exhibiting companies, and attendance.
What a week! ToyFest 2024 was filled with buyers from all over the country. The show had great energy and excitement, allowing everyone to enjoy all ToyFest had to offer.
— Sandy Lepire, ToyFest President
The show kicked off the morning of March 3 with the Morning Masterpieces Kit Session, offering buyers the chance to try creative kits and crafts themselves. The room included vendors such as Abacus Brands, Aqua Blocks, OOLY, and more. That evening, the ToyFest Gala opened to guests at Resorts World’s Lily Ballroom. The gala included honoring industry peers who’ve passed, inducting new members into the Wester Toy & Hobby Hall of Fame, and announcing award winners such as Retailer of the Year.
The show’s Game Night welcomed almost 100 attendees to try out new games. Game sponsors included Fun In Motion Toys, Goliath, SD Toyz, The Good Game Co., and more. ToyFest hosted a raffle during the event with $400 in cash going to buyers. Several other raffles took place at ToyFest, with the ToyFest Daily Raffles offering buyers several prizes across the three days of the show.
ToyFest’s organizers are continuing to improve and expand the show, already looking to 2025. Next year’s show will take place in Las Vegas at The Las Vegas Market from Feb. 19-21.
