Last year, McFarlane Toys launched the Movie Maniacs brand featuring collectibles figures from Warner Bros. movies. Now, the brand is expanding to feature figures from NBCUniversal movies.
This new wave of figures features characters from fan-favorite comedies, including Jake Blues from The Blues Brothers, Andy Stitzer from The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and The Dude from The Big Lebowski. Each figure is 6 inches tall and comes with a numbered art card and a scenic backdrop, and is posed on an environmental base. All of the figures in the collection will also have a digital counterpart.
“It’s pretty cool to bring fans even more of their favorite characters — now from the rich library of NBCUniversal,” says Todd McFarlane, Founder and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “With the recent launch of McFarlane Toys Digital, we have the unique ability to expand our Movie Maniacs brand, which began back in 1997, beyond our expertly detailed figures and into the digital world by offering our fans a new way to showcase their collections. NBCUniversal’s collection of iconic characters and stories make them an ideal partner for this exciting new venture.”
The NBCUniversal Movie Maniacs figures will be available starting this spring. Digital products will be redeemable at mcfarlanetoys.digital.
