Get ready to get up and bounce … some basketballs!
Children’s entertainment icon The Wiggles is teaming up with The Harlem Globetrotters for a fresh version of the hit song “Bouncing Balls.” The new song will feature a music crossover of the original with The Harlem Globetrotters’ theme song, “Sweet Georgia Brown.”
The original “Bouncing Balls” features all sorts of colorful and differently-shaped balls, from volleyballs to basketballs to footballs. The song encourages kids to get out, get active, and bounce some balls!
The fresh mash-up will feature a new rap beat performed by Globetrotter “Moose” Weeks. Also joining the song for the full singalong are “Ace” Porter, “Baller” Moss, Sweet Lou Dunbar, and “Too Tall” Winston from the Globetrotters and Wiggles Anthony Wiggle, John Wiggle, Tsehay Wiggle, Lucia Wiggle, Lachy Wiggle, Evie Wiggle, and Simon Wiggle, as well as The Tree of Wisdom, Dorothy the Dinosaur, and Wags the Dog.
The new song will be available on The Wiggles YouTube channel on Sept. 5, and soon after will be released on music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Soon after listening, kids will be eager to get active and get bouncing!
