Disney’s trilogy of Zombies movies is returning as an animated series.
Zombies: The Re-Animated Series follows Zed, Addison, and the Seabrook gang as they redo their senior year thanks to A-spen’s alien time warp tech. Throughout the school year, the crew will hang out and have fun while saving the town. Each episode will feature new, original songs, with the soundtrack dropping with the show.
The best part of this new series is the return of the stars of the original movies: Milo Manheim (Zed) and Meg Donnelly (Addison). Tons of other original cast members are also joining the show, including Terry Hu as outer space alien, A-Spen; Chandler Kinney, Pearce Joza, and Ariel Martin as werewolves, Willa, Wyatt, and Wynter; Carla Jeffery and Trevor Tordjman as cheerleaders, Bree and Bucky; and Kylee Russell and James Godfrey as lovable zombies, Eliza and Bonzo. Kahyun Kim is also joining the cast as Dae, a witch and alchemist who is awkward and quirky.
The series launches Friday, June 28 at 8 p.m. ET on Disney Channel and the next day on Disney+. No matter how many times kids have rewatched the Zombies movies, this new series is a great way to keep hanging out with their favorite Seabrook students.
