Black Sky Creative, an entertainment provider, and Moonbug Entertainment, a kids entertainment company, are partnering to launch CoComelon Playdate, a family entertainment experience.
The entertainment center will open at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, this winter. It will feature a kids museum experience blended with a play zone. Kids and families will experience familiar CoComelon locations, including JJ’s Treehouse, the Melon Patch Academy, the Fire Station, Kwame’s Bakery, Old MacDonald’s Farm, the yellow school bus, and more.
In our quest to shape the future of children’s entertainment, CoComelon emerged as the perfect IP. It can be difficult to find repeatable, educational, and fun experiences that are enjoyable for both children and their parents. With CoComelon Playdate, we’re solving this challenge by creating a safe and approachable destination for families, where children can step inside the world of their favorite show to explore, interact, and play in CoComelon’s iconic themed environments.

In addition, CoComelon Playdate will include an extensive retail store with exclusive CoComelon products, a food and beverage area, and two dedicated birthday rooms.
“Millions of kids around the world fall in love with CoComelon because of its colorful world, relatable characters, and joyful music,” says Susan Vargo, Head of Experiences, Moonbug Entertainment. “Finding new ways for families to interact with CoComelon in the real world helps us deepen the show’s connection with fans.”
